Method Underground 2025: The premier bouldering event in the Northeast is back!
Join us on Saturday, April 12! This year’s competition features three exciting categories: Citizens, Youth, and Open, offering something for climbers of every level.
Date: Saturday, April 12th
- Citizens Comp:
Designed for climbers of all abilities, from beginner to advanced. Thanks to our amazing sponsors, the top three climbers in each category (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) for both male and female will receive prize packages valued at up to $500. - Youth Comp:
Divisions include U13, U15, and U17 for both male and female categories, giving young climbers a chance to showcase their skills on an exciting competition stage. - Open Comp:
Watch some of the best climbers in the region compete for their share of a $10,000 cash purse! The Open Finals is an adrenaline-filled spectacle you won’t want to miss.

MU 2025 Event Day: Saturday, April 12
Wave 1 – Open & Youth Only:
- Registration opens at 9:00 AM
- Climbing begins at 10:00 AM and ends at 1:00 PM
Wave 2 – Citizens:
- Registration opens at 1:00 PM
- Climbing begins at 2:00 PM and ends at 5:00 PM
Open Finals:
- Isolation opens at 6:00 PM
- Climbing kicks off at 7:00 PM
- Open Category: $70 (or $80 after April 2)
- Youth: U13, U15, U17
- Members: $55 ($60 after April 2)
- Non-members: $65 ($70 after April 2)
- Citizens:
- Members: $55 ($60 after April 2)
- Non-members: $65 ($70 after April 2)
Spectators: Finals are free to watch—don’t miss the excitement!

Wall Closure Schedule for Event Prep:
- Sunday, April 5th: North Wall will be stripped at 9:00 PM and remain closed until event day.
- Monday, April 6th: East Wall will be stripped at 9:00 PM and remain closed until event day.
- Tuesday, April 7th: Steeps and Slab Walls will be stripped at 9:00 PM and remain closed until event day.
